Step 1: Draft

PURPOSE: to read the source text, to say it aloud to engage your memory, and to draft the text in the target language.
Read the assigned question and answer carefully in the source text.
Click on the "Consume" box to indicate this step is completed.
Say the question and answer aloud to engage your memory in the process.
Click on the "Verbalize" box to indicate this step is completed. This will "unlock" the text box.
Translate the question and answer in the text box.
1. As much as possible, translate phrase by phrase and not word-for-word, to preserve naturalness of the target language.
2. Some verses have more than one question
3. Format the text by clicking the line you want to format, and then click the format icon ( ) and select the size text for that line.
4. Questions select: "Header 1".
5. Answer select: normal. The format for the answer should not need to be changed.
When you finish translating that verse’s question(s) and answer(s), click on the "Draft" box to indicate this step is completed. You can go back and edit at any time, if needed.
Go to the next verse and start the process again with "Consume", then "Verbalize", and "Draft" until all questions are translated for the chapter.
Click "Yes, I did" and "Next step" to move to the next step.
